Baker Athletic Complex





Located at the northern tip of Manhattan at 218th Street and Broadway, it is the primary athletics facility for Columbia outdoor sports programs and is home to the only football field on the island of Manhattan. The 23 acre complex features The Campbell Sports Center, Robert K. Kraft Field at Lawrence A. Wien Stadium, Rocco B. Commisso Soccer Stadium, Columbia Softball Field, Robertson Field at Satow Stadium, the Columbia Field Hockey Venue, The Dick Savitt Tennis Center, The Remmer and 1929 Boathouses, and the Chrystie Field House.
The Campbell Sports Center




Opened in 2013, the 48,000 square foot facility is home to Columbia Football, and also houses state-of-the-art strength and conditioning spaces, offices for varsity sports, theater-style meeting rooms, a hospitality suite and student-athlete study rooms.
Steven Holl Architects' Campbell Sports Center was named the Best New Building in New York in the 2013 MASterworks Awards, administered by the Municipal Arts Society. The MASterworks Awards celebrate excellence in architecture and urban design in New York City, and recognize the best projects, completed within the last year, that have made significant contributions to the built environment of the city.
